I now have a split personality...

Well, I've done it. I decided to take on a pen name for my hot, erotic tales. I've been pretty resistant to doing the pen name thing, since I know me, and I know how bad I can get at keeping up with blogging and promo. But when I came down to the decision, what really tipped me over was the fact that I'm using my real name for my young adult Hell House series, and I wanted a distinct separation between the two worlds.

And so, Chrissie Lee was born.

She's still me, just a bit more snarky and way less inhibited. She wants to make her readers hot under the collar and show them that happily ever after can be as wild as they want it to be.

This was my first Brit Blaise book, and I'm sure it won't be my last! I was truly impressed by Brit's story. The love scenes were hot, but still tugged at my heart strings. The action never stopped, and every twist and turn kept me captivated until the very end. Every character seemed to have a secret, whether they were aware of it or not, as well as ulterior motives. A truly well-crafted story, and one that I recommend to anyone who loves their romance to have a little bite to it.

I have been perusing many e-books lately, and am pleased as punch to have stumbled across this author. Not only are her settings vivid and real, the characters really spring to life on the page as they deal with all the emotional baggage from their entwined past. The juxtaposition of the cold Vermont snowstorm against the sizzling love scenes made them that much hotter!

(And I don't think I'll ever be able to think of hot chocolate or maple syrup the same way again!)

Never has a book made me want to be stranded in a snowstorm, cut off from the world!
